Terms of Use (in plain terms)

One tsp. allows registered users to store private collections of recipes online. These collections are intended for personal use only. One tsp. does not provide any tools to republish recipes.

You may use One tsp. by registering for a free account. You are permitted register for one account only.

Your free account will allow you to save and organize as many recipes as you wish, with a limit of 10,000 recipes. Mike Brittain reserves the right to limit access to accounts, or restrict saving new recipes, for accounts that exceed this limit.

Limits on free accounts are subject to change.

This web site is intended for personal use. Don't run a business on this site, or based on the availability of this site.

I do not guarantee the availability of this web site... at all. Many features on this site will undergo changes from time to time and may even be broken or unusable at times. I do my best to make things run smoothly, but make absolutely no guarantees.

By voluntarily using this site, you agree not to hold Mike Brittain liable for any damages resulting from the use of this web site, lack of availability or access to this site, or loss of data on One tsp.'s server(s) or databases.

In other words, keep your own backup copies of anything you put on this site.

I reserve the right to block users, remove recipes, or terminate accounts for any reason I feel necessary, especially if those users are causing problems that make it difficult to run the site or provide access for other users.

Free accounts that have been inactive for more than 180 days may be terminated without notice and all recipes removed from them.

Privacy and Security

You must provide a valid email address to use One tsp. I reserve the right to email registered users to notify them of changes to the site. I respect your privacy and promise to keep these notices to a minimum.

Cookies are used on this web site to store data related to your account. Personally identifiable information is not stored in these files.

To register for an account, you need to provide an email address and password. I will never intentionally distribute this data to anyone else, for marketing, spamming, or any other purposes.

The password for your account is encrypted when it is sent from your browser to our server, using the industry-standard HTTPS/SSL protocol (128-bit encryption). Your password is "hashed" (along with a salt) before being stored in our database.

You are strongly encourage to select a unique password for this web site. Do not use a password that you have used on any other (online or offline) accounts, including bank accounts, email accounts, etc.
