Terms of Use (in plain terms)
One tsp. allows registered users to store private collections of recipes online. These collections are intended for personal use only. One tsp. does not provide any tools to republish recipes.
You may use One tsp. by registering for a free account. You may register for one account only.
Free accounts are limited to 150 recipes. You may upgrade to a Pro Account, which has no restriction on the number of recipes that can be stored in your account. Pro Accounts can be purchased either one or two year terms. When your Pro Account term expires, you will again be limited to storing 150 recipes until you renew.
Limits on free accounts and pricing for Pro Accounts are subject to change.
This web site is intended for personal use. Don't run a business on this site, or based on the availability of this site.
We do not ensure the availability of this web site... at all. Many features on this site will undergo changes from time to time and may even be broken or unusable at times. We'll do our best to make things run smoothly, but make absolutely no guarantees.
The owner will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of this web site, lack of availability or access to this site, or loss of data on our server(s) or databases.
In other words, keep your own backup copies of anything you put on this site.
We reserve the right to block users, remove recipes, or terminate accounts for any reason we feel necessary to ensure a high quality of service on this web site.
Free accounts that have been inactive for more than 180 days may be terminated without notice and all recipes removed from them.
Privacy and Security
You must provide a valid email address to use One tsp. We reserve the right to email registered users to notify them of changes to the site. We respect your privacy and promise to keep these notices to a minimum.
We make use of cookies on this web site to store data related to your account. We do not store personally identifiable information in these files.
To register for an account, you need to provide an email address and password. We will never intentionally distribute this data to anyone else, for marketing, spamming, or any other purposes.
The password for your account is encrypted when it is sent from your browser to our server, using the industry-standard HTTPS/SSL protocol (128-bit encryption). Your password is "hashed" (along with a salt) before being stored in our database.
We strongly encourage users to select a unique password for this web site. Do not use a password that you have used on any other (online or offline) accounts, including bank accounts, email accounts, etc.
We use tools for tracking visitor usage, including web server logs and Google Analytics. Use of these tools means that usage behavior may be disclosed to third-parties. Personally identifiable information, however, is not tracked using these tools.

Changes to this document
Dec 24, 2012 - We changed wording around how your password is sent from the browser to our servers. Previously, we did not use secure HTTPS connections. Now we do.
