Buta Kimchi Donburi

Sauteed pork strips, onion, and kimchi over rice.

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of pork loin, thinly sliced (shabu-shabu style)
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 c kimchi
  • 1/4 c green onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and sugar to taste
  • rice, cooked

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a saute pan over medium-high heat. Add kimchi and onions. Saute until onion softens.
  2. Add pork and heat until cooked through.
  3. Add salt or sugar to taste.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
  5. Serve pork-kimchi mixture over a large bowls of rice (one per person).
